Today, sustaining ageing pipeline infrastructure is a major industry problem. It costs companies billions of dollars to maintain pipeline without interruption of operations. Customers worldwide also face countless issues to continuously and safely operate their pipeline system for their entire design life.

Unplanned shutdown is one of the major performance issues faced by customers and often it is unavoidable. Thereby customers had to spend premiums for immediate repair response on sectional repairs and planned shutdown. Also the tendency for customers to get the structures / sections replaced and back to operational mode could only be done during planned shutdown.

Therefore, knowing these challenges, Thirran Energy in collaboration with our specialized Principal from the US, introduce an innovative composite repair solutions designed for high temperatures, high pressures, all types of weather, complex geometries, confined spaces and pipes carrying harsh chemicals .

We work tirelessly to attend customers’ problems, address their concerns /issues diligently and committed to complete the projects (repair works) within the specified timeline and budget. Thirran Energy offers carbon-fibre wrapping system with specialized engineered adhesion properties (resin compound) to rehabilitate and restore original operational strength on any corroded piping systems or eroded pipeline systems or leaking pressure vessels, ensuring reinforcement, seal and repair solutions.

All our composite wrapping system engineered to strengthen the pipeline/pressure vessel/piping systems, that enables it to be restored to maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) without shutting down.

This is an immediate and economical alternatives to pipe replacement or sleeve welding, eliminating the requirement for hot work or shutdown services for component/structure replacement. Also often end customers (pipeline owners or operators) will not standby all types of components/parts therefore Thirran Energy could provide an in-situ and effective solutions to customers with corroded piping system.

As for customers that facing pipeline deterioration issues (wall thinning issues), Thirran Energy could offer a Preventive Maintenance System that would provide a cost effective solutions to reinforce their pipeline system and restore its structural strength without the needs to shut it down for repair or reducing the MOP (maximum operational pressure).

Therefore, by sealing off the leaks and/or strengthening the corroded areas, we will ensure that customers continue to operate the pipeline safely without jeopardizing any HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
