Hot tap and Line-Stop Fittings
Thirran Energy helps customers around the world to perform alteration works on the existing pipeline section without shutting down the system. Hot Tapping consists of three sets of connections;
- Hot Tapping machine which includes cutter, housing and power unit
- Isolation valves such as sandwich, Gate or Ball Valves typically used to isolate the pressure
- Hot Tap mechanical fittings such as Full Branch Split Tee, 3-way tee, Weldolet, reinforced Branch, and etc.
Mechanical fittings mainly designed for the operating pressure of the pipeline and are suitable for the purpose.
